I think a lot of us feel like that.

I guess you always know there must be people feeling soemthing similar, but hearing it (or in this case reading it) feels SO good. ☺Rachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09919481746681931021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047856.post-40229258278907328162010-06-17T16:09:41.187-05:002010-06-17T16:09:41.187-05:00My oldest is so tightly wound I worry about him &q...My oldest is so tightly wound I worry about him "disappearing" for fear of letting himself down. He told me the other day his worst nightmare was that his A's turned into B's. I don't know why he puts so much pressure on himself.

Sounds like you handled J just perfectly though. Good for both of you!Envoy-ettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18038921847704727550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047856.post-31138161852250138712010-05-27T08:07:44.453-05:002010-05-27T08:07:44.453-05:00I don't feel enough parents do what you do the...I don't feel enough parents do what you do these days, instead they seem content to let the Internet raise their children and have the government figure out what is appropriate content.Drake Sigarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472926482579087987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047856.post-55427700272909340772010-05-25T03:34:03.818-05:002010-05-25T03:34:03.818-05:00I think what you did was great. I spent 3 years in hospital and barely graduated high school.

I came from a highly abusive household and was put into foster care at 17.

Today, I work hard to try to make everyday count for me. I figured, if I could put so much effort into ending my life, why not use that effort to improve my life instead?

And when I was young, adults who took the time to talk with me instead of AT me, always made the biggest difference. :)Klaudeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11486915671592135783noreply@blogger.com
