Something odd just occurred at my house. My son just walked downstairs to tell me that his shower needs fixing, something about the water pressure and temperature. Nothing unusual about that.
The odd part - he walked right by my husband (who happens to be home this week) to ask me.
I'm not sure if I should be proud that he recognizes that his Mom can fix many things around the house or saddened that he did not even think to ask his father to fix it.

So..did the husband smile at his "can handle it wife" or frown for being overlooked?
He had the "what the..?" look on his face, but then just shrugged his shoulders.
From a mom that has been there and done that ... STOP IT NOW !! My 23 year old son - still bypasses his dad to have mom "fix it"
I forgot to add it's not so cute anymore ....
